environment and a supportive community to facilitate mindfulness practice.
Regular practice allows easier access to the quiet reserves that exist
within each of us.
The Monadnock Mindfulness Practice Center has no membership
fees. Donations of all types are necessary to keep the center going,
and your support would be most welcome.
Cushions and chairs are provided; however, you may bring your blanket,
cushion, bench, or pillow and wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.

What is Mindfulness?
-
Mindfulness is more easily felt than described. Essentially,
it is the practice of living fully present in each moment. Being
fully present in each moment provides spiritual nourishment as taught
by numerous philosophers and religious leaders throughout history.
Learning to become more mindful can involve: silence, reflection,
meditation, reading and discussion.
Benefits of mindfulness practice include calmness,
insight, hearing your inner wisdom, a general sense of well-being,
a greater resiliency towards stress, and a renewed sense of spirit.
More information on the health benefits
are on the GETTING STARTED web-page.

Mindfulness practice is not associated with any particular
religion or faith community. Rather, it is a philosophical reference
that can support other belief systems or stand alone.
Cushions and chairs are provided; however, you may bring your blanket,
cushion, bench, or pillow and wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.
